Cayman Wetlands Kayak Safari

Explore the tranquil beauty of Cayman’s ecologically sensitive coastal environments by kayak. A short, air-conditioned ride takes you to the Kayak staging area where you will meet your experienced guide. After a safety briefing and familiarization with the Kayaks in a shallow, protected area, you will set out on your expedition, exploring secluded shorelines, inlets, bird-nesting areas, sea grass, and mangrove communities. Along the way, your guide will point out scenes of interest and describe the importance and interdependence of these fragile ecosystems with the surrounding coral reefs. You will also have the opportunity of getting in the water for a refreshing swim and snorkel around a healthy coral head. Snorkel equipment is provided at no extra charge. After returning to shore, the home journey takes you through one of Cayman’s most attractive residential communities.
